By placing an order with or donating to Girl Guides Australia, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
Please review the following prior to placing your order or making a donation. Girl Guides Australia adhere to all relevant fair-trading laws, policies and practices. Find out more at www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au and www.accc.gov.au
Refund Policy
If the goods you have ordered are faulty, you can choose between a refund or credit. Any refunds made must be via the credit card used for the original purchase. Your request for a refund or credit needs to be accompanied by proof of purchase and any claims should be raised with Girl Guides Australia within 14 days of receipt of goods by emailing guides@girlguides.org.au Items that are not in original condition cannot be refunded or replaced.
All special orders or donations are non-refundable, unless the order was for goods and these are deemed faulty. We will not refund or credit for change of mind. Only items that were purchased from Girl Guides Australia can be returned. We will not accept items purchased from other outlets including Region Shops, Retail outlets in other States or International outlets.
Returning Goods
If returning goods by post, please include a copy of your proof of purchase, an explanation for returning the goods and whether you require an refund or credit, along with your details. Girl Guides Australia is unable to refund freight/shipping charges, except in circumstances where the goods are faulty or have been inaccurately described. Please package carefully and send to:

Placing an order or making a donation
Girl Guides Australia accepts orders and donations through our website or via email for larger orders.
We endeavour to process all orders within four working days of them being received, excluding weekends and public holidays. If necessary, you may cancel all or part of your order, provided you contact us before the order has been fulfilled and posted. Girl Guides Australia will not be liable to you for loss you or any third party suffers for a delay or failure to process your order or deliver goods due to inaccurate or incomplete details provided in an order.
Once an online order or donation has been finalised, a receipt will be sent to your email address. Please check your Junk and Spam Folders.
All Prices are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST. Any fees and charges (including Delivery Fees) also include GST where applicable.
Payment Options
We accept payment via credit cards and debit credit cards issued in Australia or overseas. Once you have placed your order you will be taken to our payment process page. Girl Guides Australia only accept credit card payments through a secure payments system.
Postage and Handling
All domestic orders under 5kg will be shipped using Australia Post. The average delivery times for Standard delivery are 7-10 Business days for WA, far North Qld and most of NT, outside Alice Springs and Darwin. All other Australian locations are delivered between 4-7 business days.
All international orders will be shipped using Australia Post or international couriers. The average delivery times are:
4-6+ days for USA and Canada
4 days for Japan
4 days for Malaysia
3 days for New Zealand
Postage and handling fees are as stated on our order form or quoted directly.
Customs and Duties for International Shipments
Please note that international shipments from Australia may be subject to Import Duty/Tax which are levied once the shipment reached your country. As we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Such charges are not included in the purchase price of our products.
Girl Guides Australia will not be responsible for the payment of any Import Duty/Tax under any circumstances. We are not able to offer a refund for returned goods which are returned because the customer wishes to avoid paying any customs duties imposed.
When ordering from Girl Guides Australia, you agree to pay any Import Duty/Tax which may be imposed by your country’s government. If you refuse to pay any Import Duty/Tax imposed and thereby prevent delivery of your order you will remain liable for the purchase price of the product/s and any Import Duty/Tax or penalty imposed by your government.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country and customs duties are not always applied. Each country has its own rules for determining whether Import Duty/Tax will apply. Some countries only charge customs duties if the parcel has a value over a certain amount. Based on your country’s customs rules, it is possible that your parcel will fall below that threshold level. Therefore we ask that you contact your local customs/import/mail departments for rates before you place an order to avoid any surprises.
We cannot guarantee that items will not be subject to random checks and cause associated delays and charges. Girl Guides Australia is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.
Privacy Policy
Personal Information, which you provide to us whilst placing your order or donating, will be stored securely by Girl Guides Australia and a third-party financial provider. This information will be used for the purpose of processing your order or donation. Girl Guides Australia may also send you communications from time to time, so if you would like to opt out of this, please email guides@girlguides.org.au.
