Assistant Chief Commissioner Positions
Girl Guides Australia (GGA) is excited to advertise the two Assistant Chief Commissioner positions to support the incoming Chief Commissioner Dr. Helen Reid, to lead Girl Guiding in Australia.
Members of State Girl Guide organisations who are looking for a new challenge are encouraged to apply and join the GGA team of volunteers focused on empowering girls and young women around Australia to experience, grow and lead through Girl Guiding.
Assistant Chief Commissioner (Young Women)
As a key support to the Chief Commissioner, the primary role for the Assistant Chief Commissioner (Young Women) will be to chair and coordinate the GGA Young Women’s Forum. The Forum brings together the voice of ten members aged 16-30 from all around Australia to provide insight to the Board of GGA.
Applicants for this role must be aged under 30 years, be a member of a State Girl Guide organisation and have extensive knowledge of Girl Guiding in Australia.
Assistant Chief Commissioner (International)
As a key support to the Chief Commissioner, the primary role for the Assistant Chief Commissioner (International) will be to manage the WAGGGS strategic relationships and provide oversight of international opportunities.
Applicants for this role must be a member of a State Girl Guide organisation, have extensive knowledge of Girl Guiding in Australia and a strong understanding of WAGGGS and World Guiding.
