This influential role provides stewardship and vision to the Girl Guides Australia (GGA) Board, championing strong governance and enabling the organisation to thrive as a Member Organisation of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).

Working in close partnership with the Chief Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chair is part of a collaborative leadership team that shapes GGA’s strategic direction, strengthens its culture, and supports the organisation to deliver meaningful outcomes for girls and young women across Australia.

The term of each appointment is 3 years. If mutually agreed, following a review, the Chair can be reappointed for up to a further 3 years.
