Applications open for Australian Delegates
Girl Guides Australia is pleased to call for applications for the Australian delegation to the WAGGGS 39th World Conference, to be held in Cambodia 16-19 June 2026.
Participation in the World Conference is a great opportunity to represent Australian Guiding at the world level. As part of the team representing Australia, you will be asked to work together to put forward positions and ideas for the future of our Movement, elect new World Board Members and, decide the host of the 40th World Conference in 2029.
The Chief Commissioner will lead the delegation.
Girl Guides Australia strongly encourages young women to submit applications.
Cost: Airfare, conference fees, accommodation and insurance expenses are met by Girl Guides Australia. Excursions and any additional accommodation are the responsibility of the participant.
Applicants should complete the ADM.4D form which must be accompanied by a letter from the applicant, no more than one page in length including how the responsibilities of this position would be fulfilled and how the knowledge and experience gained will benefit Girl Guiding in Australia.
