Australian Girls’ Views on Gender Equality
To gain an insight into what girls have to say about gender inequality in our society and political system, Plan International Australia commissioned a survey of 1,742 Australian girls aged 10 to 17 years old.
The aim of the survey was to find out how girls in this age range felt about the impact on inequality and how it affected them as well as hearing about their future hopes and aspirations. This information has been compiled into a report ‘The Dream Gap: Australian Girls’ Views on Gender Equality” and was released on International Day of the Girl on 11 October 2017.
